PROCESS EXPLANATION
In this unit, oil-cake which has taken out from the press in the crude-oil unit is separated from the remaining inside it. The oil-cake is washed and combined with a solvent (Hexane) and then the solvent and the oil separated in order to gain the remaining oil in the oil-cake.
EXTRACTOR
Provides the decomposition of the oil inside of the oil-cake via a solvent. System works as parallel. The operation continues until the saturation of the solvent on a certain level.
DISTILLATOR
Decomposes solvent oil mix via heat.
RELAXING TANK
Provides the decomposition by result of precipitation of the waste matter in oil decomposed in distillator.
HEXANE TANK
This is the tank where the matter used as solvent being kept. System works with closed circuit principal and solvent is being kept in these tanks in liquid form.
SUBMERGED OIL TANK
This emerge the oil that could be submerged in waste matter borne upon precipitation, by giving it a certain level of heat.
OIL SEPARATOR
Separates the emerged oil from waste matter.
HEXANE SEPARATOR
Re-obtains the evaporated hexane by separating it from the steam during its output of steam distillation.
DEFLECMATOR
Leaves the matter that could be stayed inside of the distilled steam to the open air by douching it.
HEXANE CONDENSER
Turns to liquid state the solvent that turned to gas during the decomposition of the oil in micella by recondensing.
THIEF
The last check point. The hexane that could escape from all lines is checked here lastly.
